How to buy a travel eSIM with crypto
By DMarketplace · · 3 min read
A travel eSIM gives you mobile data abroad without roaming charges from your home carrier and without buying a local SIM card at the airport. On DMarketplace you choose a data plan for your destination, pay with crypto, and get the installation QR code in your order details once the payment is confirmed.
Choose your destination
Start on the eSIM page and open the country you are travelling to. Each destination page lists the plans for that country and the regional plans that also cover it.
Travelling through several countries? A regional plan can be simpler than one eSIM per country. Check its coverage list on the product page: a regional plan works only in the countries listed there.
Compare data, validity and when it starts
Plans differ in data volume and validity, for example 1 GB for 7 days or 10 GB for 30 days. Estimate your use: maps, messaging and occasional browsing need much less data than video calls or streaming.
Check Validity starts on the product page. Some plans start at installation, others at the first connection at your destination. If yours starts at installation, install it shortly before you leave rather than weeks ahead.
All plans are data only. They include no phone number, so calls and SMS stay on your home line.
| Field | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Destination and Coverage | The plan works only in the listed countries. |
| Data and Validity | Data runs out at whichever limit is reached first. |
| Validity starts | Tells you whether the clock starts at installation or on arrival. |
| Device | Your phone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. |
Pay with crypto
- Select the plan and choose Buy now or Add to cart.
- At checkout, review the plan, quantity and total, and check your email address.
- Follow the payment instructions shown. Check the asset, network, destination and amount against those instructions before approving a wallet transaction.
- Wait until the order status confirms the payment. Keep your order number for any support request.
Find the QR code and install the eSIM
After the payment is confirmed, open the order in your account and choose Show installation details. You will see the QR code and the manual details for setup.
Treat the QR code like a voucher code: keep it private and scan it only on the phone you will travel with. An eSIM counts as delivered once these details are available, and a QR code can usually be installed only once.
