ESR is one of the best companies to buy iPhone Cases and Accessories from. Their cases are well made, durable, functional and just terrific looking. I’m one of those people who likes to have a case (or two as I’ve already purchased another case from ESR) for the upcoming iPhones on hand. We will be buying an iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, both in the new to be released orange color.
While I can’t try the case on the new iPhone, I can tell you it’s a terrifically well made case as I’ve come to expect from ESR. The back of the case is a translucent clear case, which I really like as translucent cases let some of the phone color come through, but if you’re OCD like me, won’t show tiny bits of dust, which inevitably get between the case and phone. The camera surrounds are a solid Polycarbonate, with precise cutouts for the cameras, flash, microphone and Lidar Sensor. The cameras will be extremely protected. And the sides of the case are made of nice grippy TPU, but unlike clear TPU, these won’t ever yellow! I won’t know how clicky the buttons are until my phone arrives, but I’ve owned other ESR cases and they have always been really good.
The real star of the show is the Camera Capture button built into the case. This year, ALL ESR cases for the new iPhones will have a Camera Capture button. Too many other case manufacturers simply have a hollow cutout for the capture button. That not only makes a case weaker at that corner, but doesn’t provide any protection for the capture button. When I got my first case with a Camera Capture button for my 16 Pro’s I vowed I’d never own a case without the Capture button built in.
ESR makes excellent cases at excellent prices. They aren’t expensive, but they’re not cheap either. What they will do is last a long time and provide terrific protection for your expensive iPhone, which is the real reason you put your phone in a case to begin with.

This is a great case for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. It fits perfectly, feels sturdy in the hand, and the clear design shows off the phone nicely. The MagSafe compatibility works well and holds accessories securely.
The case offers good protection against drops and scratches, and overall it has kept my phone safe. The only drawback is that it begins to yellow after about a year. I have had to replace it a few times, but I still keep buying it because it looks good and does its job.
If you want a durable, affordable, and functional case that shows off your phone, this is a solid option. Just be prepared to replace it over time if the yellowing bothers you.

This case is outstanding, especially for the price. It’s thin and light and fits like a glove. My MagSafe accessories work perfectly right through it, just as advertised. The one thing I would say, though not a complaint at all, is that it wasn’t compatible with the camera lens protector which I also purchased. This is because, instead of an open space between the camera lenses and the flash, there is clear plastic, which makes it impossible to insert anything that wouldn’t be flush to the back of the phone. However, I actually consider this a strength. I believe this case provides adequate protection for the camera lenses and flash and that I won’t need a lens protector. This, in turn, may improve the quality of the photos I can capture.
In any case, this is a great, low-cost case that I wouldn’t mind replacing in a year or so if it gets banged up.

I’ve had this case for a few days and I’m very happy with the purchase. It feels durable. It definitely was easy to install. I chose the clear case because I got the orange iPhone 17 Pro Max, the color is highly visible. It’s just the right size of thickness. The material is not too slippery. It feels very secure in the hand. The MagSafe compatibility works great. It doesn’t have a kickstand, but I got a MagSafe wallet attachment that has the ring so it could help with being a kickstand. The material used for the case definitely allows it to be placed up against something without it sliding down. I definitely would recommend it. The price was good as well.

While this isn’t the same case I had previously for my 14 pro max (came with a screen cover built in), it is still quality and little to no scratches show on the back. It’s a snug and slim fit but still offers protection against any potential drops. Lastly for MagSafe charging fans.. yes this works just fine and no impact to the magnets.
